Tel Aviv, "The First Hebrew-Speaking City" is a metropolis which functions as the center of economy, culturecommunications, and commerce of the State of IsraelIt is a combination of old and newinternational construction style (The Bauhaus from the 1930ies) with modern skyscrapers. Tel Aviv is truly "New York" in the Middle East, considered The "Non-Stop City".

My family, The Chelouche familytook part in the establishment of the "Achuzat Bayit", which later became Tel AvivYosef Eliyahu Chelouchemy great-grandfatherparticipated at the famous seashell lotterywhich divided the territory between the 66 founding families.

  • Meet My Family Story – begin with understanding life in Jaffa at the beginning of the 20th century, and follow my family to their first house outside of Jaffa, in Neve-Tzedek. We will continue to Chelouche Bridge and "The Twins", and we will end at the last home of Joseph Elijah Chelouche.

  • Tel-Aviv and the establishment of the state: Jerusalem is the capital, but the announcement of the state was made in Tel Aviv. We will visit Independence HallBen-Gurion's house and the building of the Jewish National Fund (JNF).
  • Figures of the city's past: We will try to see the city through the eyes of a few famous people Beyalik the poet, Meir Dizengoff the first mayor, and the painters Gutman and Reuven Rubin.
